maybe ill get back into xanga?

things are wierd in my life now. im glad school is out, but as i have expressed to many of my friends, it would be nice for school to be out, and all my friends to stay here. this past school semester was amazing. full of love, fellowship, and learning experiences, things that were HUGE blessings, and things that werent. BUT ive overcome, and im ready to see what the Lord will teach me this summer.

what my summer holds: 7 hours of summer school, no work, random road trips, hanging out with my parents.... and whatever else happens.

like whoa! im back. it has definately been a long while. i just wanted to update. :) everything is going so well in my life. im so glad that God has blessed me with some a-mazing roommates. truely a gift.

for all of you who dont know, i went to kaleo this summer and God stretched me more than i think he ever could. it was... amazing. i learned so much. the one part that i was so scared about going is sharing the gospel with strangers, and really it is something that i just can do anytime, and it has become a part of my life and just a lifestyle i will live now. we had a missions confrence and it was all about Gods heart for the nations. WHOA! did the Holy Spirit move that weekend... i never in a million years could see myself doing anything with missions and God revealed to me that he calls us all to have some hand in making his name known across the nations. i dont know what that looks like in my life, i would love to go over seas and spend time just loving on the lost and sharing the gospel, but i dont know it was so real to me and i just know that God commands us to share his word. the great commission says... "Therefore go and make disciples of ALL nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." that verse is sooo powerful! anyways--- basically this summer was just the best and God moved in so many ways. i was really sad when i had to come home early bc of hurricane dennis, but i knew there was a plan for it and God had mapped out the best plan ever! i went to Dayspring (ps i had the best girls in my cabin and they are THE BEST sophomores i know) but anyways, i got to pray with a girl to recieve Christ! it was so great and i believe in my heart that i came back just to be there for that girl. i just know God works in mysterious ways and i know he loves his children so much and sets up the best divine appointments.

i am very anxious to see how this school year is going to run... it is the first year i will have and be in ministry while in school and taking 17 hours... YIKES. but i know that God will sustain me and keep me strong.

i love all of my friends and maybe this is the longest post ive ever had.....
